Maple Caramel Fudge
Fudge!! It's amazing, maple fudge? Yikes, it goes to another level!! This is one quick and easy maple fudge recipe that will have you making it over and over again!
I will have to brush my teeth as it's almost impossible to stop eating it. My daughter turned into a wild animal when she knew it was on the cards!
Let's get making!
You will need
1 tin of condensed milk (298mls)
125 grams of butter
225 grams of demerara brown sugar
200 grams of white chocolate
4 tablespoons of maple syrup
Tip, you can substitute dark chocolate for a wild dark chocolate fudge experience
To make
Line an A4 sized baking tray with baking paper.
Put a pot on a low to medium heat. Plop the butter, condensed milk, demerara sugar and maple syrup into it.
Cook for about 12 minutes stirring regularly till it thickens and starts bubbling like a witches cauldron.
Whilst that is cooking chop up your white chocolate
Once your pot is bubbling like Krakatoa and the mix looks nice and thick take it off the heat.
Quickly throw your chocolate in and stir till it looks nice and smooth.
Phwooooaar, lovely jubbly!!
Pour the mix into your lined tray
Bosh it into the fridge for a few hours
Take it out and slice into little cubes
Look at this lovely stuff. Quick, don't answer the door. It will be your neighbours like a zombie horde ravening for your maple fudge!!
If there is family nearby grudgingly give them a piece or two.
But keep the rest for yourself!! :0)
