Cube House
Cube House is a simple, block-shaped house designed and built by the German architect Simon Ungers.
This home is located in an isolated area of New York State, its monolithic form and raw minimalism make it a true sculpture. The windows punctuating the facade seem to be randomly placed, contrasting with the regularity of the building's shape. A remarkable metal staircase runs along one side of the building to allow access to the roof terrace.
This house is fantastic. I think I might build one like this. One thing I would do differently is only have the exterior staircase from the second floor to the roof. That way the roof would be more secure and private because you would have to go through the house to get to it. Do you have a link where I can see more pictures of the interior?
