Braeburn’s 25 Day Trixie Challenge - Day 10

It was a St Valentines Day massacre. My dreams were winged at Kelso as Something Brewing failed to make the top two, received a body blow at Fontwell as Regarding Ruth slumped to an 18 length fourth place and had bullets pumped into their quivering corpse with Ertitaad’s fifth place at Chelmsford City.

I’m sure this fortune cookie is referring to humankind as a whole.

Still, as with love (or massacres), horse racing is a game with many twists and turns. Ups and down. Peaks and troughs. Good days and bad. Strikes and gutters. Spits and... you get the picture, the point is that when we believe in something we must never give up on it. Sure, there have been no returns since day 1 of the experiment, but that just makes it more likely that things are about to swing my way.
