an ode for change

We see the world in contradiction
And to the teachings of tradition
Some of us question the conservative decision
Reaching no peaceful outcome with precision

They say if we change, the world will too
But the world will change forever more,
No matter what we do
So the question is not fixing this place
But to accept the changes we all must face

Changes of habit
Changes of belief
Changes of lifestyle
Providing our resources some relief

We can buy ourselves the time
To advance in ways we must
Technologically, economically systematically
Breaking the guise of the patriotic crust

It takes a fresh objective, a real aim
Global realization, action and the agreement to change
There are too many corners of the political arm
That through narrow opinion cause economic hand social harm

In a built up world of constant addiction
Where busyness hides the facades of each temptation
The obviousness of the popular general intuition
Has no uniting figure for change to gain friction

This figure does not breathe on its own
It grows in unity around small communities and,
From the rebels, the governing injustices are shown.
