Well, I did have a quick fling once that, on christmas day, i found out she was actually in a serious relationship with a friend of mine after he woke us both up...

That's a shame - breaking friendships because of sex is silly !- sex is just fun! friendships are serious, and should be cherished.
Unless it wasn't that good a friendship. lol
it was a new friendship so not a lot of bond yet.
Yes sex is fun and should not trump friendship. However perception determines how people look at it and many put a lot of weight on sex.
