On my last walk, I decided to explore the historic city of Bath in Somerset. As I strolled along the picturesque streets, I was captivated by the stunning Georgian architecture that dominates the cityscape. The iconic Royal Crescent and the Circus were truly a sight to behold.

I also took a leisurely walk along the River Avon, admiring the tranquil waters and the charming Pulteney Bridge with its rows of quaint shops. The lush green parks and gardens provided a welcome escape from the bustling city center.

During my walk, I met a friendly local artist who was painting the beautiful scenery by the river. We struck up a conversation about the history of Bath and he shared some fascinating stories about the city's past, including its Roman origins and its heyday as a fashionable spa town in the 18th century.

Overall, it was a delightful walk filled with history, culture, and natural beauty. Bath truly is a gem of a city with so much to offer for history enthusiasts like myself.
