This is not shocking. Every time a superstar declines their final deal people act like its news. It’s smart business. Decline a one year deal to go for a long term more lucrative deal. The only players that should opt into these type of deals are players like Gordon Hayward who got a big deal, got hurt, his play declined and he will never see that kind of money again.
If he leaves the Warriors will still be the team to beat, I'm sure this has everything to do with the Warriors Dr's and therapists releasing him back to play when he wasn't ready, and nothing to do with team.

A few players declined their option for either more money or less money. Nobody knows what's gonna happen so chill everybody he ain't even playing next year anyway.
The Warriors are not done if he leaves they are still a great team people not thinking about one of them free agent signing with the Warriors Jimmy Butler or Tobias Harris it's some good players out there so don't be shocked.

It boggles my mind the people who are bashing him because he declined the offer golden state was trying to push him. Golden state put his health at risk and regardless of everything else, Basketball is his passion. Imagine someone that jeopardizes your health all to win, you’d want to explore your options too.
