Mexican Beaches: Playa Bonfil 1
We went to Playa Bonfil a few days ago to get some truck work done and spent a little time at the beach getting photos. John now has a gimbal stabilizer thing for his phone which makes it so he can take professional smooth videos with minimal equipment. The videos we've gotten are pretty cool, so stay tuned because we have a few from this visit to post.
The beaches here are pretty and quiet but the water is a little dangerous as far as swimming is concerned. Surfing is great on this beach but anyone that's surfed knows that surfing and swimming beaches are not the same thing.

You have been such a treasure trove of information for someone thinking about moving down there. Thank you so much, and here’s another question for you if you have time.
You drove down as I recall. If we drive our jeep down and just stay past our 6 months what happens? Do people keep their vehicles with US plates.
We have been here for 2 years with the same plates. We've seen really old US plates here, expired so it's kind of one of those anything goes things. Cops may try to bug you over it but you can tell them to leave you alone, we do.

We made a lot of excuses to stay in the United States despite wanting to leave and having options of places to go. Our biggest regret is not moving sooner....so if you've got the desire...make it happen :) You'll regret it when you can't (or when it's harder at least)

Awesome beaches. Cool shoes. Do they feel weird between your toes? Can’t wait to see the video, fun you guys are doing that.
I love those shoes and am now addicted lol. By that I mean whenever I wear different shoes my feet and legs just ache, but I can run around all day in these. They're super grippy and fit very well...I'd honestly have to have something similar to be as happy.
I thought they might be more annoying between the toes but they aren't. it's actually a feature because you can wiggle your toes to deal with itches without having to take off your shoes. And you can crack your toes with shoes on, a big plus for me.
