Hello..

The story of Romeo and Juliet is one of the most famous romantic stories in the world. Why is it so famous? I think because it has a tragic story in it. Juliet was willing to die rather than not be with the person she loved, Romeo.

The narrative of Romeo and Juliet depicts true love as steadfast fidelity, even in the face of painful hardships. Romeo and Juliet exemplify love that overcomes societal borders and family conflict. They are willing to overcome all barriers, including sacrificing their lives, in order to unite in the love they feel is their destiny. True love in this novel emphasizes the value of sacrifice and the bravery to strive against the odds for a love that they hope will last forever. Despite their tragic ending, their pure and genuine love continues to inspire many others to believe in infinite power of true love.

Reading the line from Romeo and Juliet made me realize that I, too have a love story. Although my story is not as tragic as Romeo and Juliet's, I believe it reflects my efforts to prove my love by marrying a woman I have loved for a long time.

About my Story

Around mid-2017, I met a girl who was a student at a neighboring university, in Banda Aceh. At that time I was entering the period of preparing my thesis. My spirit were low at that time but this girl became a motivation for me to finish this education soon. Am I a lucky guy? Definitely!

A year later I successfully completed my studies in the city of Banda Aceh. For about 2 months I stayed here to apply for several jobs, but it seems Banda Aceh is not a source of sustenance for me. I decided to return to the city of Lhokseumawe and ask permission from my Juliet as well as apologize because we would be in a long-distance relationship for a while.

How sad I felt to be away from the woman I loved for a while. Once a month I travel to the city of Banda Aceh to meet her. For me it was a small sacrifice. The most important thing is that I can meet this woman.

For years, I've had this type of long-distance relationship with the person I love. I was bored and wanted to propose to her in the hopes of breaking free from the longing that usually holds me back. Then in early 2020, we became engaged. I was overjoyed, but this was just the beginning. More challenges stand ahead.

If a couple gets engaged, then it's a sign that they will soon get married. But getting married costs a lot of money. I have to work extra hard for that. In the morning I work as an administrative manager at school, and in the evening I work as a cafe manager. All of this was to multiply my income to be able to marry the woman I loved. I felt very short of rest hours. I even fell sick a few times. But that's okay, for the sake of getting something, it's only natural that we also sacrifice something else.

And after more than a year, the day finally came when I managed to marry her. I was able to prove my love to her. Obviously this is one of my big achievements. Don't ask me how I felt on that day. I was so proud and happy. Maybe it's just a normal thing for other people, but the processes I went through were so hard.

Conclusion

We all have stories similar to Romeo and juliet. We all have our own struggles to prove our love by making sacrifices or other things. The point is that we should never give up on the person we love.
