First of all congratulations if you ask me 1 year is not long to save for a wedding.

If it comes to Romeo and Juliet...they met one day, he proposed and they married next morning, she pretended to be dead to avoid to get married with the man her parents wanted her to be with (she didn't tell she already was). Next Romeo killed two people and himself, she woke up and killed herself. Is this true love? The love story between these two a 17 year old boy and 14 year old girl lasted 5 days. Five days from the moment they met till they both died and in-between Romeo became a killer.

I doubt any parent will say today this is the perfect love couple or perhaps only if it comes to a tale/play. It has a lot in common with "West side Story" - fighting families or street gangs..

If you want to tell a story of love, true love, to your children or others yours is the one. It's about trust, the faith to wait and hard work to make it possible to be together, ready to start a good life without hurting others or sneaking out.
