My Actifit Report Card: January 8 2020

I did lots of steps today. I rode my e-bike over thirty miles and did some grocery shopping and disc golfing.

The weather was a bit on the chilly side but not to bad for disc golfing, pulse there was not much wind. The course was really wet though. You had to be careful to avoid the water hazards everywhere and the footing was difficult in wet boots.

The scores were not the greatest but the three of us had a great time playing never the less.

One of my friends lost a disc in a seasonal water hazard. It was on a pretty difficult basket to hit, even when there is not a pond partly blocking the approach. He did not quite hit the gap and the disc flew into a tree and landed in the water. When it dries out we should be able to find it. I might dry up in a few days if it stops raining but this time of year I'm not sure if that will happen.

Sounds like snow is possibly in the forecast but it probably won't be much or stay around for long. There is a lot of water saturating the ground so I doubt the snow will stick much.

This is the time of year to play this course so long as you don't mind the wet conditions. There is a lot less growth and it is much easier to find the discs if you can't get them to land on the fairway.

We ended up finding two discs today. They had numbers on them so hopefully we can get them back to the owners.
