Power of Angle - Imprinted by LightCaptured
Does that place look deserted and abandoned?
Well, despite what you may think, it is far from that.
Instead, I shot this series at one of the most expensive and prestigious places, the boardwalk at the biggest Bulgarian city on the shores of Black Sea.
Photography has that power - to "frame" to draw attention to certain aspects.
Here, I was absolutely shocked how this precious piece of land is rest to look that ugly and remain without purpose.
Let me share some info that will underline my point of view.
A short comparison.
Bulgaria and Greece have almost comparable population. Bulgaria - around 7 million people and Greece - around 10 million.
The sum of the lengths of the beaches in Bulgaria is slightly above 100 km.
Here comes the big difference. The length of the beaches in Greece is above 4000 km. Huge difference, right?
I can't speak about the "common" Greeks but Bulgarians for years had that tradition to go to the sea for the summer vacations.
Now you would correctly guess sea access here is much more "in demand". That, in turns, makes the land at the shores much more expensive...
Hence my deep surprise to find such places that look totally devastated.
Here is the Power of Angle. I could've easily turn around and show you all the neighboring fancy bars, restaurants and locales around. I could've captured some of the beautiful ladies with heavy make-up scrolling around, the luxury cars, etc.
However, I have not ;) This all is a part of the reality too...

Very nice set of photos. But regardless of that, the accompanying narration is really super. I have been the fan of your work for some times.
