My Favorite Photo

Let me say firstly, that I am not sure if this is my favorite photo, ever. However, it is the one that first popped up in my mind when I saw the invitation to participate in the "Deranged Photography Contest" by @derangedvisions and this week the theme is "Favorite Photo". Thank you!

I am sure some of you have already seen this photo from my travel to the amazing Tuscany province in Italy. If not THE most this is one of the most beautiful places in Italy and why not on our planet...

This particular capture was chased in four consecutive days, where I had to wake up very early, drive for some time through hills, mountains and valleys to get to that same spot and wait for the perfect weather conditions. Some days the fog was covering everything and the others there was no fog at all. But in the last morning the sunrise was just perfect!

As you may guess or see above, I made that landscape with telephoto lens and tripod, there were few things in front and close to me I wanted to avoid and the aperture isn't by accident at all as I love drawing with that sun ray diffraction...
