4th Week of September "Window Sill Gardening"
Hi all!
Week 4 is over Do you want to know what changes have happened? I'll show you my plants.
So, my garden is in boxes!
The sprouted lettuce leaves are pleasing. During the day, it's sunny and warm and lettuce grows well
The nights are getting cooler, so, I cover the crate with polythene wrap in the evening.

Tomato ovaries.
Gradually ripening tomatoes.
The cucumbers have thrown out a lot of ovaries and are growing very slowly. I am frustrated.😞 I'll keep watching them.🤔 It's an experiment!
Oh!😳 Those are garlic shoots.
Chard is the ornament of my vegetable garden! I like its beautiful juicy foliage.
The red-stalked variety is especially spectacular, with its bright stem contrasting sharply with the carved greens.
_ I was cutting large chard leaves and using them to make a warm salad. Chard is good for vitamins and micronutrients. The leaves are very dense and juicy and have a characteristic beet flavor._
I used to often buy chard leaves at the store for salad. But I cooked chard in this way for the first time, especially since I grew the chard leaves myself. Exciting!
I offer a simple recipe from chard.

Мангольд подвид свеклы😊, похож своими длинными стеблями и листьями на шпинат. В отличие от обычной свеклы, у мангольда съедобны листья и стебли.
Это как сказке про "вершки и корешки"😀
Я на рынок, да и в супермаркеты, практически не хожу, а в нашем маленьком магазинчике такого нет!))) Вкусный мангольд?
Какие результаты хорошие. Овощной салат из травы, которая выросла на балконе. Я вижу есть и чеснок и петрушка, лук, мангольд и помидоры набирают вес. Салат вкусный? Я когда то в борщ добавляла листья свеклы, мне очень нравился такой борщ.
А здесь как раз листья очень полезные. Спасибо за прекрасный пост.

Жаль маловато листьев было,... не хотелось все срезать. Оставила расти. Пишут, что можно в зиму оставить. Поэкспериментирую😀
