THE SHOPPING Game : 16-7-20 : Sudden Medical Expenses
Hi friends, Yesterday we get one big expenditure to my family. It is very big burden to us, but need to bear it, no other way for us.
Suddenly my mother in law not possible to see clearly, so we take her to near hospital in my area.
After testing they tell that, she get layer in her left eye, so need to do laser operation and fix lenses in her eye. So we arrange money for that.
After finishing, Doctors advice to use four types of eye drops for one month.
So my hubby go for buying medicine for my mother in law yesterday. It cost nearly Rs 1600.50.
That Doctor prescribed medicines available only that hospital pharmacy. It located inside the hospital. It nearly 3km away from my home. So he go with help of Share Auto. For up and down we pay nearly Rs 50.
After buying those, he buy another medicine for me, and one baby soap for my kid. We using the Teddibear Soap only for my kid, it cost around Rs 140.00,on compare to other kid bath soap it cost is very hight, but it give three months usage for my kid, and also my family doctor prescribed to use for my kid. Because she having very dry skin, so getting lot of rashes always, that's why Doctors prescribed to use this soap. So we using last three years this one.
Total cost in another medical shop nearly Rs 277.00.
This month we spend huge money in medical only, due to some sudden operation of my mother in law. All those we arranged from out side, some from our lock down savings too.
Total cost of medicines is 1600+227+30 =Rs 1857

This sort of layering in eyes generally happens in ageing people, post-60 age it's really an issue. I don't know it needs minor surgery or not in your case, but in the case of my father, we did a minor surgery two years back. And now he is really doing fine for the last two years. I hope your in-laws get better with medicine and my wishes for a speedy recovery.
I always consider "eyes" as the most valuable asset among the different body parts.
Yes you said correctly. We go for minor laser surgery for my mother in law. Now she is in bed rest, with in one week she get back to her normal life.

Sudden health issues are very unfortunate incidents, it can wipe away the savings one kept for important projects. And funny enough you can't keep silent to watch a love one suffering in sickness. Some even borrow to help.
My sister was operated of fibroid two days ago, all expenses paid by my senior bother.

Yes we understand her pain, that's why we already spend our savings and also some money from others help too. Yesterday we finished her laser operation too.
Now she need complete rest, now all of us taking care her, with in a week it get normal but we decided to give complete rest up to one month.

I'm so sorry about your mother inlaws sight. I use glasses too and I know how fraustrating it can be.
I started using it since I was just 7 years old and as at that time my parents spend about $100 now to go for check up and get a new glasses.
I was given eye drop then until I was told to stick to my glasses. That's how I'm still sticking to the glasses up till now.😂😂😂 I'm 20
