My MonoMad Post ~ Three Waves at Night
My wife had the news on last night while we were eating dinner, and I saw a report of large surf. The images showed the crest of a wave brushing the bottom of the Hermosa Beach pier...40 feet above the surface of the ocean. My wife had to work, so I took my camera and drove to County Line Beach, where I've seen some large surf before. When I arrived, I quickly discovered two things: 1) the surf wasn't as large at County Line, 2) it was DARK out. Yes, these short days made photographing the surf quite a challenge. Luckily, there was a house with a light. So, I bring you...Three Waves at Night. I'm posting these images for the daily #MonoMad photo contest created by @brumest and curated by @monochromes.
