{SPOILERS} American Satan - the most resent honest film you will ever see

I just finished watching this film called "American Satan". This film just shows everything about the music industry. From how big bands and singers become so famous to how their entire life is about worshipping the Devil himself. How it is centred around earthly pleasures and sins. Bear in mind that this post will contain spoilers, some will be crucial to the whole plot, so if you are planning to see it, do it first. If you are not interested in seeing the movie, I will try and explain it well so you will get the overall picture. Let's start:

What is it all about?

We already know from the title that the evil deity known as Satan will play a huge role in this film. And he does. The film is about an interpretation of the tale about Johnny Faust. In my previous post about Lucifer, I talked about him so if you do not know his tale check it out.. A band called "The Relentless" want's to become famous and do some rock and roll. Half of the band are from the US and the others are from England, they all drop out of college and move and meet in Los Angeles, where they try to find their way to success.

The devil

When we first see the Devil, we get introduced to him with him quoting the bible. To be specific he says:

John 7:24.
Stop judging by mere appearances
and instead, judge correctly

He first appears only to two of the people from the band. He wants to show them around the town. But they refuse, saying that they do not believe in the Bible. Then our human Satan says:

Hey, have a little faith in me.

Lily

The band need a bassist. We get introduced to the lesbian girl named Lily. They play a song together and find out they have chemistry. Then the band decides to have her in. She plays a huge role later into the film.

Second appearance of the devil

We see that the band will play in eight weeks. But they need to sell their tickets on their own. Their salary depends on how many tickets they sell. Then on the streets, we see a homeless man who is the Devil's second appearance. What he say's is this:

Hey, my deal's
the best in town, man.
You should sign it.

All of the band just thinks he is some kind of weirdo and moves on.

Third appearance

This is where things get really deep. We see that the band performs but does not earn any money. They are broke. But they were given a new opportunity for them to shine in another place. When playing there all of the people get out abandoning the concert because there is a rumour about Metallica playing nearby. In reality, the ex-boyfriend of Lily is playing not Metallica, but he lied so he can sabotage their gig. Upon exiting the place, our Satan appears in an expensive car. He says that he has a solution to their problem and offers to pay their drink in the nearest bar where they can discuss a deal. So they then sit in the bar. After a talk one from the band says this:

-We're just a rock band.

And the devil then tries to convince them that he really is the devil.

-Oh, pop stars are so fucking boring.
Anyway, I've got most of them.
Jay Z. "Empire State of Mind."
I love that lyric, um,
"Jesus can't save you.
Life starts
when the church ends."
And then his little protg,
Kanye.
You know, I put him on the front
of Rolling Stone magazine
with a crown of thorns
on his head.
Total fucking blasphemy.
You know that guy's got
over 20 Grammys.
That's more than the Beatles,
Neil Young
and Elvis put together.
I mean,
even I'm embarrassed by that.

Then the talk continues with this:

Have you ever seen Iron Maiden?
They filled stadiums
full of their fans.
Singing along to songs like
"The Number of the Beast."
Or what about Van Halen? Huh.
"Running with the Devil."
The Stones,
"Sympathy for the Devil."
I mean, on and on
and on and on it goes.
I'm not saying I'm Satan.
I'm just saying the devil
is a catchy lyric.
-If that was all real, they would
never put it out in the open. - says one from the band
Hmm, well, he talks. Hmm.
Check this out. See this?
The pyramid and the eye.
Do you know what that signifies?
Illuminati.
-What's that writing say?
-He favors our undertakings.
Yes, I do. And this?
New order of the ages.
Novus ordo, yeah.
You know, the best place
to keep a secret...
-is right in front of someone.
-...is right in front of someone.

Human sacrifice

They all become believers but if they want to become all famous they need to do a ritualistic killing. That's the deal they make. So they go on and kidnap the guy who fucked their concert, Damian, the ex-boyfriend of Lily. They put him in their van and burn him. In the process of the ritual, Faust decides that he wants to stop it. He opens the door of the van and Damian exist, but then he tries to climb an electric fence and dies unfortunately for Faust. The ritual is complete so we see that in the next day, the band gets a contract with the most famous record label, Akkadian Records.

American Satan

They go an make an album which they name "American Satan, they have the pentagram and the Baphomet in the album's cover. It becomes a great success. They become one of the biggest bands on Earth. The album gets to top 1 of the charts. Then they start doing drugs. They start fucking with their followers. Also further in the movie, we see that an 18-year-old girl wants to lose her virginity to the singer of the band aka Faust. She even pays for that and in the end, loses her virginity to him.

Sex house

After becoming a massive success, Lily decides to show the band where she works. For the band's surprise, she works in a sex house. Sex house full of Baphomet imagery and women who wear Baphomet masks. The band starts to do drugs, all of them find someone to fuck and the manager of the band overdoses and loses his life. Lily and Faust fuck each other after they do a heroin dose. Faust cheats on her girlfriend in a live cam, unknowingly for him that Lily started to film live to Faust's girlfriend. The image below is shown in the sex house and it says:
"This is where the elite come to play. The occult stuff is just part of the theme."

After the night of sex and drugs they wake up in the house and they watch the news on one of the band's member phone just so to find out that there were hundreds of murders in 27 countries because of their music. They end the news report with this statement:

One thing is
certain, the power of music
appears to be stronger
than ever.

The Devils speech

The devil appears once again to start a conversation:

Look, sanity.
It's all relative
to the times in which we live.
You know, in 1967,
we put Aleister Crowley
on the front of Sgt. Pepper's
we wrote underneath it,
"Welcome The Rolling Stones!"
Ha! Aleister Crowley!
The old sorcerer himself.
Back then,
that was beyond fucking insane!
And then six months later,
The Stones put out their album.
Their Satanic Majesties Request.
And on it, on the front cover,
they had hidden
The Beatles faces.
If I'd have told Zeppelin
in the late '60s
what was going on with Apple
in the world today,
they'd think
I was a raving loony.
How the fuck do we even know
that you're real?
And what, what the fuck
does this have to do with Apple?
We have a skeptic
amongst us, huh?
All right, Leo.
Look up the official price
of the first Apple computer.
It was $666.
Yeah. Six hundred
and sixty-six, really?
Yeah. Yeah.
The forbidden fruit
with a big bite taken out of it.
What a great logo.

If you do not know who Aleister Crowley is, he is basically one of the biggest satanist in the world.

One more talk with the Devil

Ok so Faust and Lucifer are on a bar and he wants him to do a ritual onstage. Here are the scripts:

Listen, we have to discuss
plans for Hellfest.
It's time for me
to make you a legend.
What are you talking about?
The onstage ritual.
Now look,
I'm gonna give you a gun.
And then I'm gonna have
a mentally unstable person
attack you
during the first song.
You just blow his head off and keep
playing like nothing's happened.
-I won't do that.
-Well...
I'm afraid all the band
has agreed to this.
And it is a democracy,
so you've gotta do your part.
And then, you know,
just take a year off.
You can spend time
with that lovely mumsy of yours
and just work on your new album.
I didn't start playing music
to promote killing.
You know,
it's religion
that separates humanity,
but it's music
that brings us all together.
You know, more people are killed
through religious conflict
than any other reason.
We are all our own gods.
If you want to find the answers,
you have to look
inside yourself.
not up to the sky.
Our carnal desires
are not to be suppressed.
They are to be liberated.
And sin?
Sin is simply
a matter of opinion.

The Devil wants to convince Faust into believing that the darkness is to be embraced. That sin is simply a matter of perspective and killing a man is no big deal.

Final concert

So we see Faust and the band going for the final concert, before that we are introduced to the new boyfriend of Faust's mom who is the devil himself. He says that if he does not do the ritual on stage, he will hurt his mother. After that, he leaves and Lily comes, says that she is ready to play but first needs to pee. After she goes upstairs, she transforms into the devil. He then starts saying:

Hey, Johnny.
Remember the easiest place
to hide a secret?
So tell me,
how does it feel to know
that the person
you've been fucking
is the same person
that your mother's been fucking?

Lily was the Devil from the beginning. She knew the record label and that was why after the ritual they become so famous.

After that, Faust and Lucifer go on stage. The Devil gives a gun to Faust so he can do the killing, but instead, he shoots the Devil. Fast forward a bit and we see Faust being in the police department. They are questioning him about who that guy, who he killed, was. He says this:

You don't get it!
Look, he's dark energy.
Einstein proved that energy
can't be destroyed,
it can only be displaced.
...
He will keep coming back!
Over and over!

Then someone from the record label comes and offers them a second album. Maybe hinting that the Devil never died just changed shape.

What the fuck

Overall, this movie is full of symbolism. We see Lily and Satan being the same guy, hinting to the Baphomet image of a woman and a man. We see 27 countries that have been going on and murdering people, because of the album. In the film they say is self-defence. But 27 is a number which states 9 and it is used a lot for numerology and symbolism. We have Faust as the main character, which is also symbolic. A lot more is going on, you need to watch it to see all of it but basically, it is filled with satanic shit. It perfectly shows us how people get famous, how they get into this devilish act and they start acting like the devil. Doing all of the sins.

To end

I will say that we are living in the worst times. We get to see these celebrities selling their souls for fame and fortune. Throughout the whole movie, we are bombarded with music, which contains lyrics which promote this devilish lifestyle. Rock lifestyle. I can say that the movie is actually designed to make you want to be like a rock star. Most people think it is fiction. Also because of the music, we can say that this film is a form of MK-ultra programming, where we get these songs stuck into our head. The songs are super catchy. The songs even can be bought as a soundtrack. It is a promotion of the Devil. I could have missed something, but I just couldn't say everything. It is just way too much. You need to see it for yourself.

I feel strange after watching the film, it stuck with my mind with all the flashy images it has. But I don't regret seeing it because I can write this post and spread the word.
