Week#4 Curation Report (April Session)| Finance & Technology | Quality Control Team| @steemcurator05
Hello steemians,
For the fourth consecutive week of April, running from April 21 to April 28, 2022, the Quality Control team was tasked with coordinating articles including the areas of technology and finance.
This week saw a slight decrease in the number of articles upvoted on compared to the previous week, but it remains a respectable percentage which indicates a growing desire to write in these two important areas at the moment, but on the other hand, the large number of skipped articles is still very annoying , especially since in our reports we always mention the reasons why we bypass them, but it seems that many users do not pay attention to our feedback, so as usual I invite them all to read what we write so that all conditions are understandable to everyone.
And as usual, we will go through more details and provide the most important stats and suggestions for this week, to end the article with the best seven articles, so we wish you a good read.

No Club : For curation, I prioritize accounts that are members of clubs, and a curation scheme by giving a higher percentage of votes if the club status is in club100 or club75, but the quality of content remains an important point. I hope the curation method that I apply will trigger them to continuously improve their club status from time to time
Plagiarism : I am using https://plagiarismdetector.net/ to track plagiarism and so far during curation I have not found any plagiarism activity
Skipped Articles : In general content that meets upvote requirements but is skipped because:
. Do not join any of the clubs.
. Content does not match the theme of finance and technology.
. Has been curated 3 times for 7 days of curation.
. Using the Upvote bot

I found several good contents today during curation as compared to the other time, users are dedicating more precious time to creating good articles under the Finance and Technology theme, yet it can be better. That said, the abuse of the tags continued with users adding them to their articles that don't correspond with the theme.
In addition, we have explained the importance of steemexclusive articles but a few authors continued sharing content that has been shared on other social media platforms before. I skipped some articles today due to low quality, unfit for a tag, no club, and non-compliance with steemexclusive.
The dominating language of the articles I curated today is English, I mainly came across articles written in English and Spanish. Also, club5050 users dominated the tag, a few club75 users were seen (around half of the club5050 users), likewise, curated articles made by club100 users today are half of the ones made by club75 users as well.

This week, 45 articles were followed in total, only 19 received upvotes with zero cases of cheating, while 26 articles were ignored, and this is mainly due to the poor level and style of writing adopted by the most users who purposely edit short sentences to escape the suspicion of plagiarism, as I said before, the article loses its methodology due to the lack of sequencing in ideas. There are also some articles that do not fall within our interests, so I invite you to check the scope of the content before affixing our distinctive sign.
We also saw a convergence in the number of articles voted and written in the field of finance (52%) and technology (48%), which is a good thing and we prefer to ensure a balance between the two fields and not give their preference.
We also noticed, as usual, the predominance of the English language at 68%, while the Spanish language came in second with 15%. This is due to the memberships of most users, whose club membership percentage has reached 75%, an increase from previous weeks, which is indicative of the new trend for most of them to reduce extracting their reward and directing it towards building up their SP balance, so I thank them and urge them to continue.

The number of authors has decressed who are making quality posts with our tag. Today I got a very low number of posts. Most of the users are participating on the new event that is Steemit Engagement Challenge. Before upvoting on a post, I always check the quality and plagiarism. There are some posts which are skipped because of low quality or irrelevant topics and some authors are not following the club event. However, I am hopeful that users will continue to create high-quality content related to our topics.

This day was the one that was less productive in the last month, Steemit users are totally focused on the "Steemit Engagement Challenge" for this reason most of their publications have been directed to this initiative, decreasing the number of posts directed to the Finance or technology topic.
Therefore, the number of votes granted (at least by me) with the @steemcurator05 account were lower compared to the previous 3 weeks.
2 posts skipped because they did not belong to the topics curated by the account.
1 skipped post because another curator account upvoted it.
1 post skipped because it had already received 3 votes from the account.
40 posts skipped due to poor content.
Reduced the number of skipped posts due to the fact that fewer users are uploading posts.

In my day of curation, I could notice the lack of really quality publications. It is necessary that more users join and those who are publishing in Finance and Science/Technology, should expand their research, so that they are quality publications.
We continue to fight against plagiarism, today I found a publication with plagiarised content, we left the note and evidence of plagiarism.
Also, 10 publications did not comply with the rules to be chosen. For example: extremely short posts with no content, posts that do not comply with any club and posts that are not exclusive to Steemit.

My curation today was pretty good because I have noticed an improvement in terms of content quality which is good news for me and steemit. It's quite painful that I skipped so many contents with a good reason behind it because most of my skipped articles were not related to our theme, others were good but very short with no in-depth explanation, the other skipped articles were articles that the users don't belong to any club. The other skipped articles were articles that have already received upvotes 3X for the past 7-days
I also realized an increase in the number of articles belonging to #technology as compared to my last curation period.
I realized a lot of users belong to club5050 status as compared to club75 or club100. Please let's all give value to STEEM by performing constant power-ups by belonging to club75 or club100. This will help improve STEEM price and we will all enjoy the fruits of our sacrifice in future when this STEEM price gives us a positive sign.

These days many users don't understand that a lot of junk files are stored in their phone memory which slows down the performance of the phone and even causes the phone to stop and turn off suddenly. This post provides a step-by-step solution for handling these cases.

Why?
I have selected this article based on the originality of a local business review. The author visited an electricity generator store and make a good review of each of the models available in the store with their prices in local currency and its equivalent in STEEM.
The most interesting part of it is that the user purchased one of these generators for use in one of the physical centers managed by Steemians in the country. Apart from the fact that the article is a valid review of the business, it's also a means of catering for the smooth running of activities in the center as power outages won't be of many problems with generating electricity for the center.
In conclusion, it's a valid review of a business and acquiring one of the products of the business to enhance work in a center that is set up for Steem affairs.

uring my Curation this week, I came across this user's article which I had no choice than to nominate it as my top best article because of the technic he used to explain how the MAP Sensor(Manifold Admission Pressure) was invented to enable modern cars to save fuel(reduce the consumption of fuel) hence not causing so much pollution by removing excessive smoke. I'm impressed with his explanations of the working system of the MAP Sensor because I understood everything about it since I studied Mechanical Engineering and I am good in this field.

Hello prof, I am a little confused as I thought club75 was chosen within a 2 month time frame. I have been maintaining my club75 status for a while now. This screenshot shows my power ups and withdraws in the past 60 days. You said I was in club5050 earlier so I just wanted to confirm how it is checked
