Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my friends, family and just awesome companions, my lovely kitties - Artax, Lena and Foot-Foot!
I just recently started playing around with my husband @matt-a's camera and am trying to learn more about photography by taking photos of our cats, food that I make and just try using it more on a daily basis.
People often complain about how many photographers are out there kind of making it sound like being a "picture taker" aka "photographer" is simple and easy, let me tell you it is NOT.
Even though I had taken photos with a DSLR camera in the past, there are still things you want to figure out before taking a picture, there is so much to learn, which I am excited about. Sadly, I'm still a newbie. I do take all of my pictures in auto mode and then edit them in Photoshop to suit more the way I see life.
Either way, I hope you guys enjoy these pictures from today and last night that I took and edited for you :)

I really like the background blur in the third one where he is sleeping. When you are comfortable, try Aperture mode. You can use a low f-stop to get a nice background blur.
Thanks for the tip! I should start learning to take pictures in manual mode more, I usually just use auto haha
