Welcome everyone to another recap!

I. The first pick of mine is My Curie Story Poem + Dsound Reading by @raj808.
A great post by our fellow curator @raj808 about projects on the platform that encourage people to stay and contribute. This one is about @curie in particular. I would like to call it a tribute and I encourage everyone to just go and read the poem, it is a pretty accurate representation of reality on Steemit.
It is tough to start on here, especially these days when there are so many more users and so very few people are actually curating manually. That is why it's important to support projects like curie that reward high quality content.
I've had my posts picked up by curie in the past, and it does feel pretty awesome when someone else appreciates your work.
Back to the post though, I would also like to mention that one cannot constantly hope for a curie upvote, networking is extremely important if you're trying to be sort of successful on Steemit. Don't get discouraged by $0.04 payouts, yes it is not an adequate reward for quality content, yes, someone has shittier posts worth over $100, so what? Make connections, be respectful, get to know the community, bring value and I am sure there will be plenty of people willing to increase your payout.

II. The second post I would like to point out today is called Metal Gear Solid Retrospective, 20 Years Later - Game Reviews - #3 by @techmojo.
Now let me share a little something I've learned about @techmojo over the months. He's one of those Steemians that constantly keep creating quality content, always structured, always straight to the point and informative.
Metal Gear Solid is a legendary game and the series has a massive fan base all over the world, my husband @matt-a is no exception. The game turns 20 years old this September and what better way to celebrate than play it, just kidding! There are several things @techmojo focuses on in his review that were introduced by Hideo Kojima (Japanese video game designer, screenwriter, director, and game producer) in Metal Gear Solid in 1998 that changed the gaming industry such cinematography, thanks to the visual effects and cut scenes it turned into interactive game/movie, he also changed the 'idea' of the game from action based to stealth, which led to the creation of a new genre now known as Stealth Action Espionage.
Now of course, I am not going to tell you everything, you gotta go read the post to learn more. Well structured, in-depth game retrospective and screenshots. A+ review.
