Magic The Gathering: Arena - Thursday, August 22nd 2019
Hey, Steemit/@threespeak! This is something I’ve been wanting to do for ages! A couple of months ago, I wiped my Mac and during the reinstall of MacOS, decided to partition my HD for Windows 10. Magic: The Gathering Arena is the only reason I considered this, and although my MacBook Pro is a 2012 2.3Ghz Intel Core i7, the game is so smooth! I mentioned I recently bought a $200 podcast mic, and today, I wanted to set things up to record gaming streams!
This was my first attempt, and most of the morning/afternoon was a frustrating trade off between bad audio, no audio, awful buffering and lag, or losing many games of MTG in a row. I finally conceded that I had to lower my resolution for capture, and frame rate, but once I did that, I also started to win a few games. These were a lot of fun, so I’m sorry, in the coming months, I’ll most likely spam the platforms with Arena games.

Magic and D&D were games I always wanted to get into but for some reason never did. I think whenever someone tried to explain to me everything that went in then, with numbers and points, it always felt too daunting to just jump into a game 🤦🏻♂️
