Monero Split Into 5 New Chains
After news from Antminer about Asic fo XMR algo the team has decided to fork into new algo to avoid centralization by the miners.
But as usual this devided community and gave a reason to split.
Monero-Classic
Same one allowing asics, no change in algo
Monero Classic
They promise to keep original code working nad update while allowing asics and GPUs to mine like they were.
Monero 0
Also belives PoW is the way to go and wants to hold same code there was originally used.
Monero Original
Not much known yet.. but you know what to expect ;)
Monero ZEN
Not much known yet but seems will be fork using ZEC algo for mining.
So this will be fun. 4 forks, all doing pretty much same but splitting chain. Nice trolling in cryptoland again.

If you mean withdrawing deposited funds, just use withdraw as the memo and send some SBD.

I saw this on one of the websites I use to mine with, MoneroOriginal, curious where all of this leads too. I think it's a natural thing to split off and develop new ideas so it's sort of exciting to watch this.

Monero has shown great promise as a privacy coin and a great option for those wanting more privacy for their assets. I hadn't known of the split yet because I haven't kept up on Monero news. Some friends of mine love it though so I am sure they are speculating on how the split will impact the market. Thanks for sharing!

Its good to know more about monero, liked those logos over there, sounds it has a good future.
We have not ever seen a fork takes over a main-net. Yet.
I don't believe that is the case now. But we will see
