My Actifit Report Card: July 20 2019
Hello People,
I was so tired when I went to bed yesterday that i forgot to plug in the phone to charge and by the time I woke up this morning. I went for the community exco meeting at 7am, top topic was security and environment. Yeah. We have little break from the constant rainfall so it is the right time to talk about preventive measures before the next wave of heavy rains starts again.
Later in the afternoon we finally cooked the unripe plantain portage we had intended cooking. It tasted very great, sorry you guys can’t get a taste of it.
I went for a walk in the evening to up my count. It was very refreshing because the weather was cool and calm.

Lol. We maintain private security for the Estate where I live so we've got to pay them monthly.
Also I live in a developing area so we do a lot of the devepment ourselves as we can't wait for the government to do it for us.

Okay that's sad you need security like that. I can leave my house and garage open and go away overnight and no one will take anything I even leave tools out in the front yard sometimes. One time my ladder was gone 😲 then my friend brought it back as he needed it while I was away lol.

We still have that type of living in some of our villages. But in the city there are a lot of frustrated and desperate people and they can do anything to survive.

It's sad that people are sometimes forced to do those things to survive. Government's have a lot of blame for making life so hard for many people.

Hmm, eating unripe stuff. I don't know about that :)
Lol. Do you eat the green banana which is ok to eat or do you wait until it turns yellow?
It's the same for plantain, the green one is ok to cook and eat as it has a lot of iron in it, but the yellow ones are also great because they're sweeter but the lose the iron minerals in them.

Unripe plantain - cooked. Never would I have thought of that. I wouldn't cook unripe bananas either. When they get too ripe is when they get cooked around here, for banana bread usually. I like reading about how things are done differently in differnt places.
😂, I think I'll do a post about how to cook it today.

I love food cooked with plantain! Colombians have a soup that is incredible made with plantain. Also Puerto Rican Mofongo is incredible!
