My Actifit Report Card: May 7 2019

Hey Actifitters and Steemians,

What a day, yesterday night I noticed my electricity prepaid meter was having a red blinking light, when that happens it means that you’re running low on credit so you’ve got to pay more and top it up to avoid it going off. The last time I topped it up I did it online, but for some reasons it took more than 2 months and a visit to their office before it was finally resolved. Today I decided I’ll walk to their office which is almost an hour’s walk to 1. Pay directly to them so that I get my prepaid refilled and the other reason was to get an automaticwin.

I figured since they open by 8am, I could kick off my house by 7am and hit the office by 8am and by the time I get back home, I would have got the automaticwin. Sure enough I set off and got to the electricity office at 7:50am, I used the next 10 minutes to go round the streets in the area to buy time. By the time I came back 8:10am the whole place was filled up with people and I had to wait in line. Lol. I did my business when it finally got to my turn, good enough there was no issues. I hit the road going back home, the sun was now up and walking wasn’t easy again as it was in the early hours, when I checked to see what my count was, boom 10k, yes I made the 10k before 10am. Next thing I did was to stop a motorbike and paid for it to take me home. Lol.

Everything was like downhill after that, my Lappy (laptop) had been making some cracking noise and freezing sometimes, my computer guy was supposed to come to the house to fix it. I waited and waited and waited but he didn’t show up. I waited until it seemed I had started losing weight. Lol. Just kidding. I tried reaching him but his number wasn’t going. I finally fell asleep and was awoken by a call as regards another matter. When I finally got through to him he apologized and said he couldn’t make it. Turns out I’ll be spending time there tomorrow.

My choice song today is a song by 2face titled “Amaka”, the song goes out to anyone who is waiting for someone or something that seems not to be coming through or finally becomes a disappointment. There is a lot of Pidgin English in the song but you’ll get the drift.
