Catch Up Chat from Chiang Mai! 😃🇹🇭

No really.. let's take a moment to enjoy the beauty of the Sun! 🌞
We've been in Chiang Mai for over a month already and this is my only stream since being back. I could have streamed through the PS4, instead I've been catching up on writing actual blogs. After this I'm done posting past streams and we can get to streaming and steeming right away! 👍
So we're just rolling with this catch up, a bit about alcohol consumption over the holidays and then of course some of the chat wanted to talk about 🔞 porn. Mostly though we're just sharing what's new and reconnecting with our regs. Maybe for next stream we can get some suggestions in comments for a topic? 😆 Well come one and all!
Meanwhile we have to wait a few more weeks for J's visa renewal and then bug out to the beach! 🏊 Great for us however air pollution is no joke and CM is getting grey. Here's to education and waking up those who burn and don't care about the health of others. 🙏🏻

It's a situation, however on the upside it keeps our wanderlust alive. It's truly a blessing that we get to focus on where we want to adventure next. We've narrowed it down to Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui or all of them. I've been to all three, Mom and Kai have only seen Phuket so far. I do prefer the Andaman coast, however we've heard the vegan and yoga scene is really taking off on Koh Phangan which is a small island off of Samui. So it could be cool to check out what's happening there too.
Anyway, that's all to come and of course we'll blog you along with us. Any recommendations drop a comment below, as I said we did Phuket last year and it's been 10 years since I've visited any other islands. I've been hesitant actually, half becaue I don't want to see how much it's changed. Simply passing through Patong was shocking as is, fingers crossed things haven't gotten too crazy. I love Thailand and especially the islands, it's one of the most special and naturally beautiful places in the world.

Anyway one step at a time. I've been doing my best to touch base at least once a week on Steemit. Probably do more now while we're settled for the next month. I've also been doing things behind the scenes with helping new people get on here. I just have to balance out and not forget to keep my own STEEM building! 🙇

We're all in the ocean together man, thankfully we have our small pool of friends to support each other as we grow up to be bigger fish lol! There's definitely so much to learn here, if you have any questions I may be able to help with feel free to here or in SMG 👍
How is internet in CM ? speed/cost .
Internet infrastructure in Thailand is actually really good, especially their scary 4G wifi coverage lol! Strong all around the city and way beyond. Plus almost every cafe, restaurant, juice bar, anywhere has free wifi.
For working from home we're doing our best to stream off a shared network for the building. It gets a bit slow at night when everyone is netflix and chilling. I've looked into our own line and it's about $30 usd pm for the highest fibre-optic pack. That's the one the gamers use and I've seen speeds upwards of 250/250mbps which is epic!
Though I doubt we'll get it until we move to a new place and that won't be until we're back from our island trip.
No wonder so many digital nomads go to Thailand.
Yeah there's a lot of them out here lol! I should add though that those speeds are within Thailand and SE Asia. It's still amazing speeds trans-pacific, however what I read is there are bottlenecks between SE Asia and the US for example. Takes it down a bit, though I've still seen 50/50mbps fibre pinging to westcoast.
$30 /month for this speed is great. I pay roughly $50/m for 50/4 mbps...

You got it bro, that package with AIS also gives a free sim card with "unlimited" 4G included. I heard it's pretty good but many of these unlimited deals throttle down after certain amount of data. Otherwise we'd all be tethering off our smart phones lol!
