Trip To Jiuzhaigou Valley
I was tired of the cold so decided to travel again, I traveled to Sichuan province in the heart of mainland China. The place i have gone to is called Jiuzhaigou which is a county in Sichuan, and the area of Jiuzhaigou to visit is the Jiuzhai Valley National Park, which is itself a UNESCO world heritage site.
I originated my journey from Chengdu city where i took a tour service,they arranged everything so after taking two buses and a car i finally reached there. There are other quick methods to go there but i was in Chengdu so that was the only way to go there as far as i know.
The particular place this post is about is called Blue Moon Lake in English (or jade dragon snow mountain lake depends who you are asking), there are other beautiful sites on that region, but for this post i am mainly focusing on that lake. It was one most beautiful place i have ever been and got more than i bargained for, anyways here are some photos i took there. I took the photos with my Sony Camera,not much but does the job done ;)
Anyways, it was one of the best trip i had for a long time, i might post more pictures of that region soon,and will recommend everybody to visit this beautiful place if they are traveling to china.As far as i know the place is beautiful any time of the year so drop by there if you can :)

My God, I'd forgotten...
The last few years (living in Beijing and dealing with the worst China has to offer, while researching political issues) have given me such a negative opinion of China that it's all-too-easy to forget just how beautiful some places in this country can be.
But this... this is incredible, and your work captures it so well.
Thanks a lot, i am also an expat there but i don't dig into politics and stuff, i just enjoy what the country offers and try to make the best of everything :)
My husband and I had our engagement photos taken in Jiuzhaigou about 8 years ago. A very memorable and meaningful place for us :)
