A busy noisy day with Fireworks, nervous dogs and Fish tanks. More sleep is needed 😴😴

I was out like a light last night, i am usually awake for hours after hubby has fallen asleep, he came to bed to find i was already asleep, he didn't realise so woke me up but i wasn't awake long as fell straight back to sleep, that doesn't happen very often. I woke up this morning feeling as if i had slept, it was just as well , we have had one busy noisy day.

We had already planned to stay in as hubby's new fish tank was being delivered but when hubby phoned to check the time they were coming they said 5ish, so a whole day sitting around waiting. Hubby had already got out of bed early to catch the Rugby, unfortunately England didn't win, Nowt new there. We decided to do a bit more listing on Ebay since we had a few hours to waste. I relisted a few items then put a few new items on, we still have quite a lot that needs to go. I take the photos, list the item all hubby does is give me a price. I was half way through listing when i turned round to find him and Mika having a nap.

Once the listing was finished we decided to get the new curtains up, might as well no point having them sitting there when they can be hung, I have to wait for the Voile's going up as only received 1 so waiting for the other arriving.

The curtains are up the carpet is hoovered ready for the fish tank to arrive, we still had a couple of hours to wait unfortunately the dogs kept us busy with them dealing with the fireworks going off, why would you let fireworks off when its still light. Mika & Luna got in a right state, we thought they were both going to have heart attacks, there little hearts were beating so fast, I really felt for them. We turned the TV up, put music on, we sung loud but nothing could stop them from hearing the bangs. I had to think of something that would help as nothing was working, i found 2 of my scarves then wrapped them around there heads covering there ears, then held them tight singing to them. they looked such a sorry sight,

That didn't last very long as they soon pulled the scarfs off, Its now 20 past 10 and we can still hear the odd bang, this has been going on since 3 this afternoon.

The fish tank arrived so me and my 3 pups were sent to the bedroom whilst they carried the tank in and got it set up, for 2 hours me and 2 nervous pups, i was exhausted after. I hope the fireworks stop soon or else i am going to have 2 poorly pups.

The Fish tank is in, hubby's got everything prepared, water and treatments are in now just have to wait for the filter to clear the water and the tank to mature before adding the fish. Its a bit noisy at the minute, i can hear the tank trickling and the bubbles being pumped through the large ship ornament, i am hoping that will settle once the tank is ready for fish to be added. I can be noise sensitive, can see that noise driving me batty. It will take a few days for the water to clear with using Coral sand. It will look amazing once it is clear and we can see fish swimming around. The fish will be happy as they are going to have a lot more room to move.

The room is starting to take shape, new carpets in, new curtains hung and new fish tank set up, its all coming together nicely.

We ordered a curry for tea, none of us had any energy to cook, now i am ready for my bed as are my pups but i can still hear loud bangs. Its going to be a long night.
