Beautiful Sunday for everyday: time stood still by the river.

Whenever I went for my evening walk by the river, time seemed to stand still. The atmosphere felt like a holiday or a Sunday when I would slow down to take things easy and become a bit lazy. I didn’t rush or try to do as many tasks as possible in one day. It’s time to relax and be idle by spending more time with nature.

I looked forwards to my evening walk by the river where I could be quietly standing and observing nature. Watching the columns of water moving slowly underneath the surface of the river gave me powerful vibes.

Some neighbours have decided to come back to settle down in Thailand after their retirements. These are wealthy people so they could build very big house and hire workers to help landscaping their garden. I am eagerly waiting to see what kinds of trees they would plant on their land.

Sometimes some villagers would got drunk and their goats would just run away to enjoy themselves by the river. Some villagers let their cows feeding themselves along the river. These cows were quite friendly and seemed so relaxed by the river. Some naughty goats would sneak into the fields to eat young leaves of my newly planted trees. They quite liked banana leaves!

The highlights of my walk are the colourful sunset, the cloud patterns in the sky and the blue hours atmosphere of the evening. Many years ago, I was addicted to watching sunset by the seaside and had to travel to seaside quite often. Nowadays I am used to the peaceful and calm atmosphere of the river and slow sunset at the riverbank. Nature always give out cool soothing vibes and healing energy. I just have to be still and quiet enough to get in touch with divine energy by the shy and reserved river.
