When you have a big SP, people are naturally attracted to you and your blog/content because the feel they might get an upvote when they leave a comment on your posts.
So, technically, having better SP actually does makes your content being seen.

When I had 0 SP, I wasn't getting as much comments on my posts as at when my SP grew to over 1000 SP, so in a way, better SP plays a role in getting your content being seen.

    Thanks for the well thought out reply, now I know more then I did. I need to grow my SP. What are some good ways at gaining more SP? Can you buy SP?
