Rednecks in China Y'all

Couple of my friends tell me this makes no sense. But perhaps it's because they don't think on it. Frustrations are enlightenment. At the very least they're the beginning, enlightenment doesn't change reality. It merely shapes your perspective of it.

At the beginning of this year I was working software quality assurance in Chicago, on track to be a decently qualified QA manager. Sheeeiiiit. I even got my happy ass promoted within three months.

Sure as fuck made me depressed though.

I hate to complain about hating something, anything really. Because I know people who would find happiness in that, the nine-to-five, the droll, the drag, the stability and security.

It was killing me. I was gonna kill me. Smoking a pack a day (I never used to smoke? Who was this character smoking?!) Smoking weed like there was no tomorrow, shit I wanted to smoke tomorrow away more than I wanted to think about it.

I could come up with the list of all the unhealthy shit I did because I was depressed. Because my life took a turn and I didn't know why I hated it, but I did. But, I feel like... why make a shit list when you can just move forward on to better things?

Catch your flow someplace else.

My girlfriend dumping me saved my life. I bought a ticket to Beijing 3 days after. I knew I needed change.

And here I am! I made it to China. My bro, Shawn, joined me (he recently got divorced and was working for our alcoholic uncle) so like, same situation, different place.

And now there's some rednecks in china y'all!
