Protest at moshood abiola polytechnic abeokuta

Due to the successful upgrade of the institution from being a polytechnic to university last year. The students exams were delayed last year as the school embarked on strike, the exam has however been completed earlier this year. As the new semester has commenced the outgoing HND students began a protest this morning, thereby leading to the shut down the school gates and Armed Forces are despatched. The details of the protest are as follows. The present ogun state government owes the lecturers of the institution huge sum of money. According to info gathered some part Of the debt has been paid but yet to be completely paid. So the ASUP MAPOLY Chapter refused to release results of the outgoing students as threat to the Government to pay there debts. This has forced the students to protest against both the lecturers ASUP MAPOLY chapter and the government. However it is a peaceful protest hence no casualties
