Achievement 2 @jobreyes Task: Basic Security On Steem

Good day everyone, I'm @ jobreyes24. I started this platform last April 2021 and I finished my Achievement 1. And I thought it is okay not to continue the next Task but I was wrong. Recently, I realized how important to follow those Task step by step.

As a newcomer in this platform I must be able to understand the Basic Security On Steem, I should retrieve all different keys, it's function and must have knowledge on the use of Steem Wallet.

4 Types of Key

Posting Key - The most used of all keys. It is used in every day logins. This key is use to posts, comments, votes, resteems and follows other accounts.

Active Key - This key allows us to transfer funds. This is use to transacts Steem power, powering up and powering down and converting Steem dollars. It is also use in updating your profile picture and details.

Owner Key - This is the most important among the key. It can resets all your keys. It is also use in changing password.

Memo Key - This key is use for encrypting and decrypting memos in transferring funds . This is the most important permission key besides master password because it gives full control on your account. Owner Key cannot be used to decrypt private messages/ memos sent to you via Steemit, which only Memo Key can do.

I already retrieved my password and downloaded it to my files and I also have a copy on a piece of paper and keep it in my wallet just in case of hard drive failure and calamity. It is really important to keep it secure because it is not possible to recover lost passwords on Steemit.

I also read and understand the use of Steem Wallet. The wallet has 3 Types of steem: Steem, Steem power, and SBD. I understand that Steem power is a measurement of how much influence the value of post and comment.

I also understand that Steem token can be transferred to other accounts. You just go to your wallet. Go to STEEM DOLLARS, and click the arrow down. Four words reveal, Transfer, Transfer to Savings, Market, and Trade. Click Transfer, fill the other steemit account user and put the amount, then use your Active Key.

I learned that if you want to grow on Steemit ,you must do power up to increase your Steem power.
To power up your Steem , Just go to Steemit Wallet again. Go to STEEM, and below is your STEEM and the amount of your STEEM available and besides is an arrow down symbol. Click it, then click the power up. After that, fill up the amount , and enter your Active Key, then click the power up button .

Therefore, I conclude that I must be patient in learning step by step process and must comply all the tasks to attain the knowledge about this platform.
