Our First Time Back on Our Beach Property in El Salvador After 3.5 Years. #ULOG #48

in #life8 years ago

So we finally made it to our beach property after dreaming about it for almost 4 years. When we left last time, we had no coconut trees on our property, but while being away we had this nice man taking care of our property and he also planted these coconut trees for us about 2 years ago and kept taking care of them. He is also taking care of the property which is next to us.

Luis kindly cut some coconuts for us to enjoy while we were visiting our beach and enjoying some food (tamales) we brought and some meat that we cooked on a fire pit we just made out of bricks. lol.

It was a great day spent and what made it better was that it was pretty cloudy because it is winter time here right now, so we didnt' get burned by the hot sun.
We also got to enjoy some ice cream, which is pretty cool, because we didn't have to go look for it, but the ice cream man came to us.

Getting some sweet water from our well. Even though we are next to the Pacific Ocean with the salty water, our wells have nice and fresh, sweet water because we don't have to dig deep to get the water from the well, but if you dig deep, you will get the salty, ocean water.

After enjoying some tamales, we went swimming in the Pacific Ocean which I will share the video next time, since it would be too long.
After the swim, we made a little BBQ and then we headed back home before gets too dark.

Our little BBQ. The meat tasted so good especially after our swim in the ocean.

What a blessing! I love your place.
Jo, I want some coconut over here.
You have a huge property there amazing and I like the pool too hehe

Tamales, is that made from cassava? We also have the same in PH
wrapped in banana leaves, same name tamales or suman:)

Have a great weekend my beautiful friend

Thank you my lovely friend.
I like the pool too, but that is our friends pool, which they didn't have when we were here last time, but we didn't get to see them that weekend, but next time maybe since they are usually there every weekend.

Tamales are made out of corn flour which is made into like a dough and inside there is chicken or beef with some veggies and yes we wrap them in banana leaves.
That is so cool that you guys also have tamales in PH.

We loved all those coconuts, they were big and hard to finish, so I got the smallest one since I can never finish them, and like I said before maybe one day I can invite all my steemian friends here to have a steem party. lol. (when we finish building)

Have a lovely Sunday @sunnylife, since I know you are sleeping right now.

Wow this is fantastic I didn't even know you could get these kind of properties, so very interesting @joalvarez oh and those coconuts are big.

Awesome, We in the country where i live do not have those trees, would be awesome to have one

Perfect life, coconuts are little pale

I agree. Perfect life.
I think it's my crappy camera that made the coconuts like that, since they were nice and green and yellow and so sweet. I know I need a new camera.
Thank you for your visit and your comment which I really appreciate.
