My friend is dying.
I say friend,
but I really don't know them very well.
The cancer has come back.
They are tired of
this doctor, that doctor and yet another doctor.
They are restless
and cannot seem to sit still
for even a moment.
They are sure the end is near
and are hysterical.
But this has been going on for years.
When the cancer was removed
and then when it came back again.
Someone needs to remind them
they are not that body.
They are spirit covered with matter.
Tolerate the suffering
and prepare for the journey.
the soul doesn't die when the body dies.
Depending on the consciousness
the soul either takes another material body
or realizes a spiritual form.
Tomorrow another friend is
taking me to visit.

That's a good thought. I hope it will help this friend to let go. It sounds an immensive struggle to me going on like this.
