Cult Awareness

Good day everyone!

I wrote the following email to my county and state government officials, and I thought you might like to see it:

Dear [title],
I wish you a great day of prosperity and wellness.
I want to bring your awareness to the fact that cults such as
Scientology, the International Church of Christ (ICOC), the
International Christian Churches (ICC), Jehovah's Witnesses, and the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon church) among
others are using their tax free status and eliciting coercive
control over their members. I hope that you will keep this in mind while
fulfilling your capacity. Please understand that I
respect all members of all religions and even cults, I once was a
member of the ICOC, for example. In fact, this respect is the very
reason for this correspondence: I wish for others to be free of the
same types of coercive control. Members of high control groups are the
primary victims.
I do not expect anything of you, but thank you for reading this, and I
hope it has inspired thoughtful consideration.
