PICKING THE PIECES
Let me tell you the story of a young boy who was considered the dumbest in his class,he was was laughed at,made jest of and mocked. He suffered the trauma of break-up between his parents whom he dearly love, for months he hoped they would get back together but they didn't, him and his brother was catered for by the mother who struggled for survival. This young boy was emotionally derailed, his report card sucked,he could hardly spell any word correctly and couldn't solve the simplest arithmetic problem. After a year and few months, this same boy was referred to as obnoxious by a classmate because he knows too much and flaunts it. Today,he is a professor, plastic surgeon , neurosurgeon , pediatrician, oncologist and the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. He is Ben Carson, he picked the pieces.
There is no great man whose life has always been a bed of roses. Manytimes in life,we undergo trials and circumstances that break us into pieces, the death of a loved one, blackmail, rejection, heart break, failure, disappointment, bankruptcy, denial,e.t.c during times like this people would cheer us up,console and feed us with kind words but it doesn't last forever, in no time you find yourself alone with your pieces, the world no longer cares, the only time they might remember you again is when you are back up.
You need to pick up those pieces, bounce back, fight, never give up,not for the world but for the fulfillment of your purpose. You were not created to be broken or to be at the bottom, you have a call you need to answer. Difficulties come to refine us and make us stronger and no burden larger than you can bear would ever be yours. Open your eyes to positivity, stop looking at the past days, don't remain entangled in the Web of your present situation, you can do better. It's time to act, silence those negative voice, make that move, stop procrastinating. You can reach the sky and beyond, say yes to a better beginning, be empowered.
Ben Carson and other great men picked their pieces, you too should.

Ben Carson's story is really inspiring. It's not about where you are right now; it's about what you are doing to get to where you need to be.
