Unforking Believable! My Take on the Hard Fork Changes So Far

The Hard Fork has come and gone with great excitement! The Steemit community has a real feeling of jubilation. Us little fish are excited that are upvotes are actually paying something. Mine went from a penny on a good day to 25 times that, give or take. I have seen many minnows actually receiving a nice reward for their posts. There is one fellow Steemian in mind that is going through a difficult financial situation, so I am glad to see these positive changes take effect, and his post rewards have gone up nicely.
I was reading a dolphin's post earlier and during the time it took me to read the post, the rewards actually doubled. I have never seen this before today. The Hard Fork appears to be benefiting the whales as well. Many recent posts' rewards are double and triple what they normally get from what I have seen in the past.
Overall, I think this is extremely positive and exciting for everyone. I'm sure there will come some changes to the way people upvote. I have noticed that my recent posts have not received as many upvotes as I normally would have by now. Are people being more conservative with their votes? I think so. At least, for now. Will this force people to become more creative and create better quality posts? Quite possibly. I certainly think we will see an increase in posts.

a lot of minnows won't vote anymore, especially comments. problem is, that they can't adjust votingpower. you need at least 500 SP to do so. for me and some of my friends it's more difficult now...
If you use the eSteem app you can change the percentage of your vote, without having 500SP
thx. i tried to use the app, but it won't start. maybe a bug, i don't know.
Maybe contact @good-karma or I know there is a feedback/bug report place to post. I was really frustrated with it initially, crashing/freezing, but I am finding the stability is increasing. Also, it's my understanding that he is going to be updating due to HF19. Also, maybe delete the app and re download/install.

Yes, I agree. We will likely see an increase in all categories. Steemians are motivated.
yes since your voting power is drained 4 times at fast I think people become more conservative with their votes, too.
I am quite excited about the changes also, since my vote went up from around 20 cent to a couple of dollars and I am around 50% votingpower now.
WIll see what the future brings and how it will affect the price of SBD and Steem.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting! I agree that people will be more conservative with their votes, but the positives seem to outweigh the negatives so far. I think the price SBD and Steem have no where to go but up!
