Yesterday I did something which I swore I would never do - I got in front of a camera and did a #dtube snap post. Ok sure, I was actually only in front of the camera for a few seconds, but even that little bit of time took an enormous amount of courage... but it is amazing how liberating it is to stand in the face of your fears.

When I told my son Jude that I had been incredibly nervous to do it, he was most astounded! Incredible how they pretty much view us parents as invincible to a degree. And because he has made plenty of youtube videos himself on his own channel, he had a real understanding of what that nervousness feels like and I could see from his reaction, that it made him feel better within himself, realising that we ALL get scared to do certain things.

I am so glad that I did it! - and I will definitely do it again! - and maybe, next time I will brave myself through an entire minute haha... and then perhaps longer. It is silly really, how we "beat ourselves up" with our internal "chatter"... making us feel less than capable of doing things that in truth, we are MORE than capable of doing. Silly little voices in our heads... haha!

Anyway, on that note - thank you again to @iamjadeline, @happycrazycon and @kaerpediem for inspiring a little bravery within me and to @dtube and @nathanmars for inspiring MANY!
