I love alleys. They are the hidden, neglected, forgotten about spaces in Japan, but they make great subjects for pictures. The hodgepodge of steel and concrete, pipes and wires, electronics and graffiti can lure you in to contemplate life and that which we create to make life more appealing.

This is a series we will be doing strictly on alleys in Japan. There are so many in the city, each with a story to tell and something to offer the viewer.
