She is so flexible and nimble! What a talented dancer and you, a talented videographer :) What was your inspiration to film her this way? Your video reminds me of Sia's Chandelier, the way the camera moves with the dancer. I have always wondered what genre of dance is this. Would you know? Hey! Yeah Amanda has got some moves, she's been training pretty much her whole life. What inspired this? Nothing directly. I'm influenced a lot by old kung fu flicks, and one shot action scenes. The style of dance would be Alternative Synergy a mix of contemporary and hip hop. Amanda & I have great chemistry when it comes to filming so we pretty much vibe off each other. Thank you so much for checking out the video and your kind words!
Ah now that you mention it, I do see the kung fu flicks in there, with Bruce Lee kinda feel :) I have watched 'So You Think You Can Dance" years before and a wee bit of 'World of Dance' but I have not heard of Alternative Synergy, so thank you for sharing something new with me. Both of you definitely have great chemistry and I can imagine how fun it is to work together :) Wishing you both a wonderful weekend!
