She is so flexible and nimble! What a talented dancer and you, a talented videographer :) What was your inspiration to film her this way? Your video reminds me of Sia's Chandelier, the way the camera moves with the dancer. I have always wondered what genre of dance is this. Would you know? Thank you for sharing with us your work of art! :)
Hey! Yeah Amanda has got some moves, she's been training pretty much her whole life. What inspired this? Nothing directly. I'm influenced a lot by old kung fu flicks, and one shot action scenes. The style of dance would be Alternative Synergy a mix of contemporary and hip hop. Amanda & I have great chemistry when it comes to filming so we pretty much vibe off each other. Ah now that you mention it, I do see the kung fu flicks in there, with Bruce Lee kinda feel :) I have watched 'So You Think You Can Dance" years before and a wee bit of 'World of Dance' but I have not heard of Alternative Synergy, so thank you for sharing something new with me.
