Today, I am happy and proud to share with you my greatest experiences joining the incredible Steemit School at discord. For me, this is ALL-N-1 school. Maybe some of you have already joined or may be now students, or an admin of the school. Maybe this is the first time you heard about it, and you might have a lot of questions popping in to your mind. But it doesn’t matter; let me tell you right away, “together we win” (learned it from a magnificent man, sir @dobartim). I’ll tell you a little more about him in a bit.

What is Steemit School? Why?

Steemit School is founded by our very own sir @dobartim, together with his great team, special mention @flysky @aidasfg7 @d-pend @D4rk @wdoutjah @karensuestudios and many more awesome and talented steemians. He is a great man who wants to accomplish a great mission for all users, “to bring together true visionaries and investors” who want Steemit to have 100,000,000 users. This is the school for everybody. We all have talents; you have nothing to worry about. Whether you are an artist, images editor, yoga or acroyoga expert, musician, singer, painter, photographer, blogger, student, marketer, IT, husband, wife, son or daughter, no matter what expertise you are in, you are all welcome here. The mission is to bring honest people together, to build an honest community. To collaborate with each other, share knowledge, talents, to create a better world for everybody. Sir @dobartim story is so inspiring, I read from one of his articles, when he said “I was poor, now I want to help everyone who wants to do great things”. How did I know about Steemit School?

I am also a newbie like many of you; I celebrated my second month this March, however I’ve been an active steemian at steemph discord (many thanks to my @steemph family). I met a lot of wonderful people who have been very supportive to me. We started talking about anything under the sun, shared ideas, and had so much fun with a lot of stress reliever games and activities. Then eventually, they put their trust in me and I built great friends with them. I am still overwhelmed, but I will tell you more about how I started in steemit in my next blog.

One day, while I was having a great time at steemph discord channel, exchanging ideas with my fellow steemians, I saw this nice beautiful lady @hazelicious. She left the invitation link of steemit school, and told us that we may be interested to join. I was so interested and wanted to join, but you know what? For some reasons, I forgot about it for two days, however I think God finds a way to remind me how much I wanted to join the school… when I came home one morning from work, I checked my phone and I saw an invitation from another fantastic man sir @flysky.

It was my very first contest in steemit since I joined this platform. And more, I won…! You know winning that contest, was like winning millions in a lottery. LOL. Seriously. Since then, I became his fan and follower. I was already reading sir @dobartim’s articles prior to him announcing this incredible school. That is because, every time I looked at sir @flysky’s blog, I came across sir @dobartim’s story on his wall.

So as soon as I joined the discord invite, I witnessed the marvelous movement in steemit world. A lot of people are exchanging ideas, sharing their talents and having fun. How wonderful is that?

Anyways, my first day of school was on Monday, March 5, 2018. It was one of the best days of my life. As soon as I jumped in at the steemit school channel, a lot of people were welcoming me from #general chat room. I felt so at home and never alone. I continue to observe and read what everybody was talking about and tried to catch up. Then I read from the #general channel that, we should join the #steemit school live class. I got curious and need to know what they know. I love to learn and share as well. I told myself that I won’t leave unless I learned something. LOL. When I hopped in at the live class, I heard sir @dobartim talking about how he started and how to be a successful individual.

I was a little late, on my first day, didn’t know yet what the schedules are for live class. But I had a good grasp of what sir @dobartim taught to steemian students. How to succeed in life. I had two take away's on my first day.

• First, have faith in GOD, never lose hope. Think outside the box. Not because you were born poor, you will die poor. You have to strive to succeed. Work hard, you are powerful to do impossible things, by making use of what you have. Follow your heart in chasing your dreams to achieve your goal.

• Believe in yourself and be honest. Don’t stop believing that you can do it. Be honest so you’ll get good karma in return. You get genuine people around you in building the community. He said “we should be honest, so we can build an honest community”.

He is a man of substance, and I will write more about it on my next articles.

I made a screen shot of the attendees, as witness that these people are real @flysky @dobartim @aidasfg7, @d-pend, @D4rk and the rest of the team. Apologies, if I wasn’t able to captured all students who attended the class on my first day.

He is also a man of wisdom. My first day was short but I learned a lot from him, and winning at the same time.

The class has ended, but after few minutes, sir @flysky, an awesome man as well, sent me a message. Then later he called me through discord channel, and we talked for almost an hour, together with this beautiful and talented lady, also from the Philippines but she is now living abroad and also one of the partners of steemit school, her name is “aida” @aidasfg7, discord username is @hongkong&Philippines.

It was kinda funny because my connection was bad, and we had to try few times before it got stabled.

Sir @flysky gave me more information about steemit school and its mission. He wanted me to understand why we should collaborate. Then, I realized we have the same goal. To bring people together, teach them, learn and learn from them in return, like what sir @dobartim always says “together we win”. These words, hit me big time. I know, steemit school is the future.

By the way, I had a chance to talk to madam “aida” @aidasfg7 as well. We talked in Tagalog for a while, with the same goal. She was so supportive to the Filipinos. We talked how we can help each other in spreading the miracle in steemit school. She was so nice and sophisticated woman, I can tell. Then we finished exchanging ideas. I was so excited and I love their passion in helping people to be at their best.

I never thought that one day, me and sir @ flysky will be collaborating with the same one mission. Do you think it was just a co-incidence? I don’t know, if you were to ask me. But it doesn’t matter, we have the same goal to help and influence regardless of our differences.

After a few hours, I was still at the channel, chatting with fellow steemian students. Then… a message popped from the general channel, that there is another live class with sir @dobartim. I know I need to rest that time, since I still have work at night, but I just could not let go, and so eager to listen to learn and hear from the steemit school live channel. I got in and to my surprise; sir @flysky introduced me to everybody and to sir @dobartim. It was my first time talking to him @dobartim, I was a little nervous. I began by introducing myself, who I am, what I do, my job, and how I started in steemit etc. Then the billion dollar question…he asked me “what is your mission?” To be honest with you my dear friends, I was so afraid that he might not like what I would say, but I took a deep breath, and then I followed my heart. My heart says everything I want to say… Yes! We have the same mission, to bring people together, teach, learn, and win together. You know, to win in this world… is to put your heart in everything you do and be honest. The universe will follow your lead.

My day was getting better, I acquired a lot of knowledge from @dobartim @flysky @d-pend @D4rk and to the rest of the team. I don’t know what he sees in me or what did I say at the class that makes him made me to be one of the “admin/s”. I was overwhelmed, but grateful for the trust he put in me. Sir @dobartim, you may not be able to read this, but I want to thank you for putting your trust in me. Likewise to sir @flysky “you are my wingman”, thank you so much.

I will do my best effort to support steemit school, support the team, bring more people and win together.

Just when you thought it was over, no it wasn’t. LOL. I got addicted and started attending live classes the following days, until now. I attended @d-pend classes teaching about poetry. He is also a great man and is currently hosting a contest “100 Days of Poetry Challenge Update [Day 2]”, for all us. Everybody can participate. If you are late for Day-2, don’t worry you have 98 days more to join. He gave us pointers in making nice poetry. It was so helpful especially if you are like me who’s not into poetry. Believe me, after the class, you will get inspired to join him. I will be joining the contest in the coming days as well. :)

ACROYOGA CLASS - by @karensuestudios

Then, acroyoga classes hosted by wonderful @karensuestudios. He taught us how to get into bird, a beginner acroyoga. She said that acroyoga builds trust with your acro partners and it even helps build your communication skills. She also tackled the benefits in our health and mind. She was so nice. Then the next day… and the next day I got more involved and addicted to the classes. Another class that I also got interested in everyday is the classes of sir @flysky. The image editing class. It was so awesome. Everybody got a chance to share their original photos, and then the team will edit them and improve the image. We learned about putting a watermark on our own image so nobody can steal it hahaha…see, I didn’t know that until I attended the class. Whether you are a professional photographer, an aspiring photographer, or may be just loved to take photos, you belong to this class. We don’t judge. LOL. We will learn and have fun together.

Before I end today… I hope you don’t mind, if I give you some advices, especially if you are newbies.

1.Praise and thank GOD our creator every single day, for all the things you have and don’t have.
2.Be honest, it demonstrates self-respect and respect for others.
3.Put your heart in everything you do. When you write, follow what your heart says. It can go a long way.
4.Believe in yourself; show what you are passionate about.
5.Don't be selfish. Read other articles and comments on their work. Comment with substance.
6.Help others and thank them.
