I love tempeh. It's really tasty :) Did not know it originated from Indonesia. It's really expensive here in Sweden so we don't by it in the super market unfortunatly :(
Yeah, I love it as well! I almost never bought it in Germany, but here in Asia it is super affordable. Expecially in Inodnesia (Bali) it is so cheap, but at the markets unfortunately you don't find tempeh from organic soy beans :/

Yes compared to Europe it is :) But there are differences, food in Thailand is cheaper than in Bali for example. Bali is paradise - friendly locals, amazing nature and delicious vegan food. It is one of my favorite places, next to Chiang Mai where I currently live :)
What do you do for a living? Me and hubby will travel to Asia all of the next year and are looking for an alternative income.

I am a vegan nutritionist, blogger and YouTuber. I offer digital products like cook books and online courses. Unfortunately we are leaving Chiang Mai this week. I love this city, the only thing it's missing is the ocean - so Koh Phangan sounds like a good alternative :)

Isn´t it funny: I still remember, as I have started with beeing a vegetarian when I was eleven years old, how much variety you had of vegetarian or vegan alternatives and nowadays we can create so many amazing healty and yummy meals like yours looking. 🍅

I spent over a year making and preparing tempeh. I got so sick of it but now I am in Mexico and tempeh doesn't exist here. I would do anything for it!

I am in Acapulco but it is not so vegan friendly for restaurant goers.
Oh that's too bad :( I spent a month in Mexico in 2014 and it wasn't easy. I visited Mexico City, Guadalajara, Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende and Cancun. Of course the bigger cities have offer more vegan options, but it's nothing compared to Asia. Well anyway, enjoy Mexico - it's such a beautiful country ♥
Tempeh ist übrigens nicht trocken, wie viele behaupten , wenn man ihn vorher etwas in Marinade köchelt.
Es ist genauso wie Tofu (und eigentlich allem anderen) - auf die Zubereitung kommt es an :D
