The Sichuan region is located in the southwest of the country, its name being the 4 river circuits. The capital is Chengdu, an important economic center in western China. Many of the monuments and landmarks of the city are in UNESCO heritage.

The main attractions are: the sculptured caves at Dazu Rock Carvings in Chongqing, the Huanglong Scenic area, the Jiuzhaigou valley and the surrounding historic area, Mount Eme, including the statue of a Leshan Gorgeous Buddha, Qincheng Mountain and the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, . The cities of the region are as follows: the capital of Chengdu, the capital with 2000 years of history, the city of Dege, or the Tibetan Library House, the city of Ganzi, which is the starting point for exploring the local monasteries, Kangding Town, has two monasteries and a cemetery with horses, the town of Leshan, or the home of the largest stone statue of Buda, the town of Songpan, the starting point for Jiuzhaigou National Park and the smaller towns of Xiangcheng and Xichang.

As an attraction for tourists is the Beichuan memorial settlement, which was destroyed in 2008 by an earthquake, being momentarily left as such to understand what the destruction of the earthquakes is. Emiishan National Park, Hailougou National Park, Huanglongsi-Jiuzhaigou Park, Jianmen Shudao, Kanggar Mountain Park, Qingchengshan-Dujiangyan which is one of the daoism cradles, Shunan Zhuhai, Siguniangshan National are the most beautiful natural reserves in the region.

One of the city's largest centers is the New Century Global building, has 14 cinemas - theaters, many offices, hotels, Paradise Island Aquatic Park with artificial beach, a 150-meter-long ice rink, ice rink, a pirate ship, a copy Mediterranean Mediterranean city and a 15,000-seat parking lot. Sichuan is the second largest province in China's 23 provinces, an important province with agricultural resources, cultivating rice and wheat.

Some of the Chinese dynasties that have mastered the region are Jin, Tang and Ming. With the 500-year-old borders, with a monsoon climate and high altitude mountain ranges, with a majority Han population and a Tibetan minority (Yi, Qiang and Naxi), the Sichuan region is different from the other. Reservations for panda bears are numerous, they are included in the UNESCO heritage and represent the home of more than 30% of the population of Chinese giant panda bears, endangered red bears, snow leopards and other rare species.

Jinli Street is a place of reference for tourists in the region, located east of the Wuhou Memorial Temple. Here the tourists will admire the traditional buildings and serve local snacks. The Three-Star Piles Museum (or Sanxingdui Museum) is located in the north-east of the Three-Star Piles Archaeological Site on the bank of the Jian River River (also called the Yazi River), with an area of 4,000 m². The Three-Star Piles Site is a cultural relic of the old Shu (or Sichuan). Here, the archaeological remains are wonderful and represent the history of the city and the area, covering all the periods from the founding of the settlements to the present day.

The giant statue Leshan Giant Buddha is a statue of Maitreya (a Bodhisattva represented as a powerful monk with a wide smile standing). Buda's statue is located in eastern Leshan at the confluence of the Min, Qingyi and Dadu rivers. In 1996, the statue was included in UNESCO's patrimony. This statue was begun in 713 and finished in 803 BC, being carved in 90 years by craftsmen, and they were the ones who made Buda's largest statue in the world. Mount Emei is located in Leshan city, a huge garden in Chengdu Plain, one of the highest places in China.

Mount Qingcheng, located in the southwest of the Dujiangyan Irrigation Project, is one of the most famous mountain Taoist areas in China. The two northern and southern parts forming the site are a complete tourist attraction, as there are numerous historical and archaeological relics scattered in a natural fairytale setting, including the Jianfu Palace. Shangqing Palace and Tianshi Cave are some of the most sought-after destinations. The Wonong Panda Reserve in the eastern Qionglai Mountains, 3 hours drive from Chengdu, is a 200,000 hectare reserve, established in 1963, and is China's newest, largest and most famous.

2000 years ago, Chendu was flooded by the Minjiang River, so a local ruler decided to build an irrigation system to prevent overflows, so the Dujiangyan project was completed, irrigating and watering the 50 cities in province.
