Three times the charm! Street art - Part 3
There used to be a match factory in Tampere. The factory still exists, but the match production ended there 1975 and after that it served as a car depot for a car dealer who died in 2005.
The area is now closed and surrounded by a fence because in 2020 it will be renovated and in 2021 there is supposed to be a daycare center and apartments. But don't worry, even thou I can't go there anymore, I have plenty old graffiti photos from the match factory and the history of the building certainly deserves at least a mention, so you can expect more posts from this place.
The graffiti photos, tags and artwork in this post are from inside the factory and from couple of the surrounding buildings. All the photos were taken 23.8.2014.

Sad the building has been run down, cool it was a blank canvas and hopeful that they have plans for it. But, there goes the art. :(
Yeah. There goes the art. I would love it if they would preserve some of it but I guess doing extra things like that is always too expensive and that's something the construction firm tries to avoid. But it's a good thing there's finally going to be something that somehow preserves the building so that all history isn't just demolished.

Wait until you see all the other photos I have from this place. On that some day when I manage to write the post. I really love the different styles that this big factory has / had and all the paint layers.
