Industrial Camshaft Lamp
This Lamp is the culmination of my love of Motor vehicles and industrial furnishings.
The break down of this lamp is as follows.
The Base.
The base is very important. This keeps the lamp sturdy and solid, and helps prevent it from falling over if it should be knocked accidentally.
The base of this lamp consist of the following.
6mm Carbon Steel Plate with a steel Motorcycle clutch plate. Drilled to accept M5 Stainless Steel Hex Cap screws.
The Shaft.
Besides the base, this a focal point of the lamp.
This Particular Camshaft is from a late 90's Toyota Corolla.
with a nice polish it speaks for itself.
The Globe.
The Globe can make or break a Lamp.
For this lamp i went with a Carbon Filament Globe to give it a bright Orange Glow.
This lamp is my favorite to date, i found great relaxation in making it aswell as a great sense of accomplishment.
