My Photos for the Weekly #PortraitContest! Outdoor theme!
So here are just a couple outdoor portraits for the #portraitcontest. This week theme was outdoor portraits! Lots of fun to shoot, as you can have a lot of different environments etc.
This was shot during the Cherry Blossom season. There was a little secluded place with a lot of trees.
I shook the tree to get pedals to come down, then quickly ran back to take the picture. It was fun!
I took both the above pictures with a Canon 5Diii and a 50mm or 85? I can't remember off the top of my head.
This picture I shot during the early early spring. There are some fields a long a river near where I live; tons of wild flowers blossom in these fields. It's perfect for outdoor shots! I shot this using an Olympus EP-2 and the kit lens.
I asked a friend if she would come out and model for me. We bought a hat specifically for this, as I love shooting big floppy hats. Plus it was mid-day and the sun was SUPER STRONG. We didn't have any reflectors or shades so the hat helped block harsh shadows on the face.
Second shot, with a little bit different feel for lighting in post. There was a little park, and the park had a little section of these strange metal flower pole things. I had her sit in the middle of them to bring some strange framing and elements into the photo. It was a pretty good laugh, and lots of funny faces were made.
We went up to a hillside which had a view of the city below. Shots were taken. Not sure why I ended up putting a watermark on this....
As the sun started to go down (but you can still see the shadow it cast from her arm) we came across and outdoor fountain, we took several shots around the fountain, this one ended up being the most dramatic.
The last four shots were taken with a Canon 7Dii and a 50mm lens.
Hope you all enjoyed my portraits, and good luck in the contest!
