Resilience is a set of our character traits and skills that let us control our emotions in different difficult situations. It encounter our stress level without much consequences. Just like other skills, our strength or resilience needs to be trained and developed from time to time. As a person grows and develop the strength and control, he learns to be more calm and responds calmly to the difficult problems without harming himself or others with rash decisions. Below I have put some of the techniques that will help you improve your tolerance for stress.

1. Taking Breaks

The stress is a short burst of emotions that makes our body's energy to threats. The actual task of stress is to deal with the problems or threats but then after dealing body needs to take rest or break. Body rest will make the body recover and increase stress resistance. It is important to not keep your body under stress all the time. Therefore, it is recommended to learn to actively relax and switch. Bad habits like smoking, drinking, overreacting, and using internet too much during stress will not release stress but increase it. Instead we should move to effective ways like sports, reading, writing, and walking.

2. Eat Right

Most of us have diet problems and we are not taking good diet that positively affect our body. If we control our diet we can improve stress resistance. The reason is if we keep our body under stress, it will need more vitamins, proteins, and trace elements. If we have bad diet, it will negatively affect our body and mind. But if we go with eating eggs, beans, nut, and dairy products, it will give boost to the vitamins and proteins and we can cope with the deficiency of the stress. With citrus fruits we can improve vitamin C that will maintain our immunity. Moreoever, we should eat broccoli, bananas, apples, Salmon fish, spinach, and chocolate.

3. Do Yoga

Yoga gives positive effect on stress resistance and decrease and helps improve mental health. Doing yoga we can strengthen our body as well as brain parts. Our brain plays the key role in the development of memory, attention, and thinking. Moreover, yoga can make our mind and mood fresh. It is proven that physical exercise reduce stress hormones level and produce happy hormones (endorphins). Doing Yoga, a gamma-aminobutyric acid increase that helps to reduce stress and anxiety.

4. Treat Negativity as Hypotheses

It is recommended to make this your habit to reassess negative thoughts. The chronic stress and anxiety makes a person to think negatively to all threats and problems. Conventionally, a person in the end will start thinking he is a bad specialist (based on minimal or no evidence). So it is important to treat these negative thoughts as hypotheses. Let's take an example, whenever you feel you are a bad person, we should not take this as a statement but must look in details. We should make a list of mistakes we did in a month and compare it with those things that you did very well in a month. It will surely reduce your stress levels and you will feel relaxed and happy after seeing less mistakes and more good work.
