Have you ever found yourself counting your eggs before? If yes, how do you feel when it didn't go as counted.

image.png

In my third semester paper exam, I found myself counting my eggs before they hatched .I was expected to get GPA higher than 3.4 because I had done well in my second semester and had a GPA of 3.6.

Unfortunately my GPA for the third semester turn out to be 2.9 which was lower than I had hopped for it was a bit of a let down for me because I had anticipated better result based on my previous performance because in last semester I got second position in my class but this time I was at the 3rd last .

Reflecting on my experience I have learnt that sometimes things don't go as planned and its important to manage Expectations. while it's natural to fel disappointed. I also realized that setbacks are a part of life and they provide opportunities for growth and learning.

image.png

How do you handle the idea of counting your eggs before they hatch on Steemit? Do you set realistic expectations or take risks?

image.png

I remind myself that success isn't guarantied on Steemit without any potential for rewards. So I don't focus too much on rewards and I create quality content on a daily basis and engage with other users.Because I believe that if you are working hard, Allah Ta'ala will definitely give you a reward.

Since I came to Steemit, I don't think that I am getting less rewards, I would be happy with them. Yes, sometimes I set goals that are very challenging but also achievable. I strategize and work hard for them and many times I succeed in achieving them. It happens because nothing is impossible here.

image.png

How does counting your eggs apply to life outside of Steemit? Have you learned any lessons about being cautious or optimistic?

image.png

In my own experiences I have learned valuable lessons about being cautious and optimistic from situations outside of Steemit. While I may have been more laid back about certain aspects of life before joining Steemit then I've realized that managing expectations and balancing optimism with caution is important in all areas of my life.

In academics I may have previously assumed that I would achieve certain grades without putting in much effort. However experiences like receiving lower grades than expected taught me the importance of working diligently and not taking success for granted.

image.png

Should you focus more on the effort you put in or the potential rewards on Steemit or any platform?

image.png

As I think about my time on Steemit sometimes I realize I am struggling to balance how much I work and what I hope to get out of it. Sometimes I focus a lot on what I could gain from Steemit like good reputation and rewards. This makes me want to spend a lot of time on my favourite social media platform Steemit even if I sleep late or doing my college assignments at the last minute.

But I am realizing that this is not the best way to go about things but for me it's nice to think about the good stuff I might get from Steemit like more recognition or rewards it's not worth it if I am tired all the day or my college work suffers.

So now I am realizing that I need to find a better balance and need to make sure that I am not putting too much pressure on myself and that I'm giving enough time to other important things in my life like college and also taking care of myself and family.

While I also dream about what Steemit could bring me I know but it's more important to focus on doing my best without burning myself out. That way i can enjoy Steemit and still take care of everything else that matters to me.

image.png

How do you balance ambition and counting your eggs? Any strategies for managing expectations while pursuing goals?

image.png

I mostly set realistic goals that I can accomplish within my energy and time. I also give priority to my studies. These days challenging times are going on because my mother is sick and there are many responsibilities at home and I also have to do small chores at home and also have to give time to Steemit. As soon as I get even a little bit of free time, I spend time on Steemit instead of using social media and posting here. Nowadays, I sleep late and sleep after posting on Steemit and commenting on other user's posts. I utilize even a little time now and don't let any time go to waste.

That's it from today's blog I hope you will like it. With best wishes ❤️. Now I like to invite @tammanna, @yenny47 and @soythai to participate in this amazing contest.

Thanks alot for reading ❤️🤗 .

Thank you for sharing your experience in the "Counting my Eggs" contest. It's important to recognize that sometimes our expectations don't align with reality, whether in academics, on Steemit, or in other aspects of life. Your reflections on managing expectations, balancing ambition, and prioritizing responsibilities are insightful and relatable. It's commendable how you strive to find a balance between your goals on Steemit and your other commitments, especially during challenging times. Keep up the great work, and I wish you all the best in achieving your goals while taking care of yourself and your family.

Thank you for sharing your experience with counting your eggs, both in academic endeavors and on Steemit. Your reflections on managing expectations and balancing optimism with caution are insightful and valuable. It's important to prioritize and find a balance between different aspects of life, including academic responsibilities and engagement on platforms like Steemit. Your dedication to making the most of your time, despite challenging circumstances, is commendable. Good luck in the contest, and thank you for your contribution!

First of all: your post looks nice on my mobile phone.

If it comes to Steemit I will never earn enough for all those hours I invest in this platform which are way too much.

Just like you I need to reduce my hours because my life is more important than social media.

I like it here, I love to write but no matter how much I write, comment and upvote it will never be enough. LOL

I learned that platforms like these are not a substitute for a job. To some it might work but to me it foesn't.
It's better to see it as a hobby you might get rewarded for.

🍀❤️

Hi @hudamalik20, I know you will find the balance you need to do the important things in your life. And the multitasking you are doing right now is preparing you to be better in all those aspects.

I will include your mother in my prayers, she will get better soon, and as we say here after the storm comes the calm.

I wish you health, success, prosperity and that your dreams and goals come true🤗🌻.

Education is such an important foundation for personal growth and future success. Keep up the great work and continue striving towards your goals. I'm cheering you on.

I'm praying your mum recovers quickly. All the best my dear
