Warren believes anything is possible — the dangerous hubris of political power!

Wow. Could there be a more perfect example of the dangerous hubris of political power than this comment? The fatal conceit indeed.

No Senator Warren, it is humility not hubris that is the mark of true liberalism. There are plenty of things that are not possible and believing that anything is possible is the sign of a naive mind. The fact that politicians have refused to admit that some things aren't possible is how we've got everything from $23 trillion in debt in the US to 100,000,000 or more murdered by their own governments in the name of socialism. Promising everything and refusing to talk about limits is the path to social destruction.

I would actually consider voting for a candidate who DID get up there and tell the American people what's NOT possible. That's precisely the cold slap of reality that we need given our current fiscal situation and the variety of silly proposals from both left and right to deal with a whole bunch of social problems.

"Sorry, that is not possible" is the most responsible, humble, humane, and liberal thing a politician can say, which is exactly why they don't and won't.
